Ubuntu Server Development Summary – 10 Oct 2017


The purpose of this communication is to provide a status update and highlights for any interesting subjects from the Ubuntu Server Team. Spotlight: Artful Release Next Week

Artful is in its final week of testing. This week the final freeze will occur and release candidate get published. If you are interested head over to the daily ISO page and give Artful a spin!

cloud-init

  • Released cloud-init master to artful
  • Queued SRU of cloud-init:master into Xenial and Zesty
  • Re-enabled tox support for integration tests

curtin

  • Queued SRU of curtin:trunk into Xenial and Zesty
  • Cleanup of artful vmtest cases

git-ubuntu

  • Released version 0.3 is now in the edge snap channel with numerous bug fixes.
